I was distracting myself with Bill Maher trying to make the time go and not thinking about it. Then my phone rang and Lachlan asked if I had heard? No I had not. PBS had just called Pennsylvania for Biden!
The rain has come and gone and come and is doing a great job of washing away the heart ache and the hurt of the past nearly 5 years. The ugliness is not gone yet, but we have hope. For the past few weeks I thought my hope was audacious but I did not know who to ask forgiveness for this from, so I kept it alive.
The colors of the sky, of the trees, of the grass, of the humming birds are all stronger and words have meaning again. 🙂
