Hullo Fellow Traveller

Welcome to My World! I am learning to live in the time of the CoronaVirus. It is a pretty steep learning curve but I am adjusting.
The stillness more than anything else, is what is almost eerie. Where we live is a quiet community in normal times, but now it is as if all living people have simply vanished … no sound of human voices at all. Strange to hear the silence.

Our weather is cold, gray and very little sunshine. Lots of wind and drizzle and rain. As if Mother Nature wanted to show her displeasure at what is happening and add to our spiritual uncomfortableness … I am not superstitious, but I must say I think it is ominous that our weather, which should be warm now, in the mid seventies, and full sunshine, has been for the same time as our mandatory social distancing, miserably followed suit.

Reading, watching movies and TV shows – how much of this can one person do?

A Chinese girl interviewed said: “social distancing is not the taking of our liberty but is a scientific method for treating a disease.” I really like that and am taking it to heart.
